In my exchange Semester in Tampere we celebrated emotion felt in art and the creative process. This is a hybrid event which happens in Tampere and online as a livestream on 12.12.2025.

[wants and needs]

We created the visuals and contents for this event from scratch with absolutely creative freedom. Quickly we divided the tasks in three areas: quick communication (poster), day of event and raising attention (instagram).
Creating the posters made the base for the whole event. We realised what the event really about and sparked conversations with everybody. For the day of event we did research on what visuals we will need. Doing Instagram was a more complex and the most fun part.

[instagram]

When creating an instagram account we started developing content pillars: information about event (news, who is coming, reminders), micro troittoir, and bts. From this we created a content plan for 6 weeks of marketing, realised this plan and posted it. We used Figma for easy communication and updates in our marketing team.

[visuals]

“In [e] motion” carries two meanings: being in motion (the creative process) and feeling emotion.
We chose contrasting pairs (green/pink and blue/orange) to express emotion and a gradient to represent the process (the colors in between). This forms the foundation of the visual identity.
When presenting people, we use cutouts to isolate them from their surroundings, drawing attention to their inner world and their emotional connection with others.
